6.25" Avionics Tray Mount Rail System
#6-32 Bridge-Box Nut
Superior strength to weight ratios for installing aircraft avionics are achieved with the Quickrax tray mount rail system. The patented bridge-box interlock design creates a fully integrated box beam at every hardware attachment location.
This channel-lock connection of the nut to the rail extrusion INCREASES the strength and rigidity of the rail with each added hardware attach point. All hardware can be precisely adjusted to any point along the avionics mount rail.
QH632 and QH632-F nut assemblies interlock with all Quickrax rail profiles.

QH632 removable

The primary advantage of QH632 removable hardware is simple installation and removal at any point along the rail with the QT100 Installation Tool.
If a QT100 is not available for field service, you can use this method to reset hardware in the track.
QH632 removable hardware can be used in combination with QH632-F non-removable hardware.
QH632-F non-removable

QH632-F non-removable hardware may be preferred when a specific installation is considered "permanent". Examples of permanent installations include factory OEM avionics, complete aftermarket instrument panel builds, military avionics installations, etc.
This nut style cannot be removed (like the QH632) from the face of the rail but is easily adjusted vertically along the length of the rail in the same way as the QH632 removable nut. This nut can ONLY be installed/removed from the rail ends.
The primary advantage of this nut style is that it is impossible for the nut to be inadvertently unlocked from the rail during removal of avionic trays, thereby eliminating the need for the "Notice to Maintenance Personnel"
QP1020

Weighing in at 0.14 lb (2.24 oz) per foot, this is one of the lightest Quickrax avionics rail profiles available. This rail is used for single and dual stack configurations where the rails are screw mounted to the panel. For multiple stack panels, the QP1020 can be used for the outer rails while the QP1120 is used for the center rails.
These rails are engineered for installation by drilling and #6-32 tapping them at each mount point. A minimum panel thickness of 0.125" with proper structural support is suggested for installations with no tray back strapping.

QP1025

Also weighing 0.14 lb (2.24 oz) per foot, this is one of the lightest Quickrax avionics rail profiles available. This rail is easily riveted to the instrument panel for single stack configurations and can be combined with the QP1120 rail for dual stack configurations.
These rails are designed for rivet installation. A minimum panel thickness of 0.125" with proper structural support is suggested for installations with no tray back-strapping.

QP1050
Weighing only 0.17 lb (2.72 oz) per foot, this rail profile standardizes the new avionics surface mount technology being introduced by Quickrax. With Quickrax surface mount rail profiles, the installer is given the option to completely pre-wire the avionics trays as a complete assembly on the bench and then install the entire suite to the instrument panel as a singular module.
Behind-panel 100 hour and Annual inspections are enhanced by the ability to detach the avionics suite from the panel and move it out of the way for structure and systems inspections / repairs.
These rails are engineered for installation by drilling and countersinking the flange, with #6-32 nut plates attached to the panel substrate at each mount point. A minimum panel thickness of 0.125" with proper structural support is suggested for installations with no tray back strapping.
Use this profile for a great looking installation that saves you time and money with your initial avionics installation and throughout the life of your aircraft.

QP1120

At 0.22 lb (3.52 oz) per foot, this multiple stack rail profile gives installers the option of side-by-side avionics with minimal panel real-estate loss between stacks.
These rails are engineered for installation by drilling and #6-32 tapping them at each mount point. A minimum panel thickness of 0.125" with proper structural support is suggested for installations with no tray back strapping.
Trays are easily adapted to mount to the offset side of this dual rail profile by using the QT300 Mount Offsetter tool kit to quickly and accurately change the tray mount location.
